The Romeoville Ignite cheerleading team achieved second place at a competition held over the weekend of December 14-15.
According to the team, they competed at Andrew High School in Tinley Park and are currently recruiting for the upcoming season. Registration for local residents with children ages 4-14 interested in cheerleading opens on December 23.
The Ignite Cheerleading program introduces children and teens to cheerleading, helping them develop the athletic skills needed to participate and compete. The curriculum includes age-appropriate cheers, dance, jumps, motions, and beginner stunts. The program offers two sessions annually, with registration for the spring session opening on December 23.
