Fire damages home on Hudson Avenue; residents displaced

At approximately 1:07 pm on Thursday, January 23, the Romeoville Fire Department responded to a structure fire at a home on the 700 block of Hudson Avenue. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke and fire conditions. Although there were no injuries reported among the residents, the damage to the home was significant enough to displace its occupants. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by both the Romeoville Fire Department and the MABAS Division 15 Fire Investigation Team.
