Joliet Catholic Academy has announced its February Students of the Month. The students honored are Molly Ryan, Heavenly Sarfo, and Quinn Swienton, recognized for their achievements both academically and within the community.

Molly Ryan is acknowledged by the Kiwanis Club. She is the daughter of Jill and Lawrence Ryan III from Joliet and a graduate of St. Jude grade school. Molly participates in various activities, including varsity softball, Key Club, Student Ambassadors, Pickleball Club, Garden Club, and Habitat for Humanity. Additionally, she plays travel fastpitch softball and works as a server at Jacob Henry Mansion while also babysitting. Although undecided about her college choice, she plans to study nursing.

Heavenly Sarfo receives recognition from the Rotary Club. She is the daughter of Linda Donkor and Francis Sarfo from Plainfield and graduated from Aux Sable Middle School. Her involvement includes being part of several honor societies such as National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. Heavenly has played varsity volleyball for three years and been on the IVCA All-Academic All-State Team twice. Outside school activities include babysitting in her neighborhood. She plans to pursue biomedical engineering and neurological sciences in college.

Quinn Swienton is honored by the Lions Club. He is the son of Kristen and Darrel Swienton from Bolingbrook and a graduate of J.F.K. Middle School. Quinn's extracurricular activities include being Varsity Golf Captain and Assistant Captain of his AAA club hockey team. He volunteers at Feed My Starving Children and enjoys weightlifting, teaching golf, and refereeing hockey in his free time. Quinn has committed to Monmouth University in New Jersey where he will play golf while majoring in business with a focus on finance and real estate.

Dr. Jeffrey Budz expressed pride in these students' accomplishments: "JCA is proud of the success these students have exhibited in both the classroom and in the community."
