ComEd announces upcoming tree trimming to improve electrical reliability

ComEd has announced plans to carry out tree trimming activities in certain areas over the coming months. These vegetation management efforts are part of ComEd's ongoing maintenance program aimed at ensuring electrical system reliability. The company has identified vegetation contact with its equipment as a primary cause of outages. To address this, ComEd will employ qualified line clearance workers to perform the necessary tree pruning tasks.

"Vegetation contact with ComEd equipment is the leading cause of outages," a representative from ComEd stated.
