Larissa Ortiz, former Romeoville High School standout, played on Sunday, April 13 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Sunday, April 13, former Romeoville High School standout Larissa Ortiz’s current college team, the UIC Flames, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Belmont Bruins.

The game took place at Flames Field. This was their third matchup against the Bruins this season.

The Flames’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 4 p.m. at Cacciatore Stadium against DePaul Blue Demons.
