On Sunday, April 6, former Romeoville High School standout Larissa Ortiz’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Sunday, April 6, former Romeoville High School standout Larissa Ortiz’s current college team, the UIC Flames, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Murray State Racers.

The game took place at Flames Field. This was their third matchup against the Racers this season.

The Flames’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 3:05 p.m. at Valpo Softball Complex against Valparaiso Beacons.
