Romeoville renews parking agreement with Joliet Junior College

As the Village of Romeoville gears up for a busy event season, it has renewed its parking agreement with Joliet Junior College's Romeoville Campus. This arrangement allows residents to use JJC lots 1 through 4 during major events like Rockin’ the Ville concerts, RomeoFest, Hispanic Heritage Night, Halloween Fest, and the Holiday Lights Festival.

A recent expansion added 173 spaces to Village Hall grounds but is insufficient for large gatherings. "Joliet Junior College has been a tremendous partner for years and are graciously allowing us use of their property so that we can accommodate everyone who wants to celebrate at our events," stated a village representative.

Additional parking options include the Romeoville Recreation Center (excluding RomeoFest) and street parking along 135th Street.
