Residential property owners in Romeoville who live in their homes are eligible to apply for an $80 refund on the portion of their 2024 property taxes that went to the Village. The application period runs from September 2 through December 1, 2025.
Applicants must complete a form and provide a copy of their 2024 property tax bill or proof of payment. Forms can be submitted online, printed and delivered to the Finance Department at Village Hall (1050 W. Romeo Rd.), or picked up and filled out in person at Village Hall.
Applications must be received by December 1, 2025; late submissions will not be accepted. For questions about the program, residents can contact Romeoville Village Hall at (815) 886-7200.
