Hibbett, a retailer specializing in shoes and apparel, is set to open a new store in Romeoville. The location will be at 359 S. Weber Road, occupying the 4,800 square foot space that was previously home to Maurice’s. Construction on the site is scheduled to begin in November, with an anticipated opening date in February 2026.
Mayor Noak commented on the development: “This new store will keep the shopping center fully leased up and offer residents and visitors another clothing option in town.”
Over the past year, the shopping center at the northwest corner of Weber Road and Airport Road has added several new businesses, including Ross Dress for Less, Five Below, Rack Room Shoes, and now Hibbett.
