During the week of Veterans Day, from November 11 to November 15, 2024, PCHS will host events to honor veterans.

The Celtics are set to face their long-time rivals, JCA, on Friday, October 25. The game will commence at 7:00 PM and will be held at the home venue of the Celtics.

The Providence Catholic Girls and Boys Basketball Teams are preparing to host the 2nd Annual Super Celtics Special Needs Co-ed Camp on January 4th and 5th, 2024. This event is designed for area grade school students with special needs, providing them an opportunity to learn about basketball in a fun environment.

At Providence Catholic High School, students in the robotics class engage with a curriculum focused on problem-solving through engineering design. This hands-on approach involves designing, building, and programming robots for classroom competitions.

Adult volunteers are needed for ShareFest, an event aimed at sorting and folding donations. The event is scheduled for Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Volunteers can sign up for one-hour shifts.

Jimmy Piko, a junior at Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox, has achieved a rare feat by scoring a perfect 36 on the ACT test. This accomplishment is attained by less than half of one percent of the 1.3 million students who take the ACT annually.

Providence Catholic High School (PCHS) has achieved a milestone in its Spanish Program, supporting the Seal of Biliteracy initiative. This program recognizes students who demonstrate proficiency in multiple languages by the time they graduate.
